The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Sailing Week 2025 is a premier Caribbean sailing event taking place from Sunday, April 13th to Monday, April 21st, 2025. This extraordinary week combines exhilarating races, picturesque sailing routes, and cultural experiences across the stunning Grenadines. Organized by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority, the event is open to sailors of all skill levels and a variety of yacht classes.
The event features two distinct segments:
- The Bougainvilla Cup (April 13th–15th):
Starting at Fort Duvernette, this three-day regatta showcases exciting coastal races, including legs to Canouan and Mayreau. Participants can enjoy a fun-filled raft-up party on the final day to celebrate their achievements. - The Bequia Easter Regatta (April 16th–21st):
After a layday and a scenic journey to Bequia, the competition resumes with a mix of thrilling races, such as the iconic Around Bequia Race and the Admiralty Bay Triangle. The regatta concludes with a spectacular grand prize-giving ceremony and farewell party at the Bequia Plantation Hotel.
Race Categories:
The regatta welcomes boats across various divisions, including Non-Spinnaker (Cruising I & II), Multihull, J24, Surprise, Racing, and an Open Class (Intended for any yachts interested in participation of event races, no CSA certificates required).
